Fattoush is a Levantine salad made from toasted or fried pieces of khubz combined with mixed greens and other vegetables, such as radishes and tomatoes. Fattoush is popular among all communities in the Levant.

1 lb. Cabbage // 1 Repollo
1/2 cups cooked short grain brown rice // Medio vaso de arroz
3 T tomato paste // 3 cucharadas de pasta de tomate
1 cup chopped parsley // 1 vaso de perregil cortado
1 large chopped red onion // 1 cebolla roja cortada
1 T Aleppo pepper // 1 cucharada de aleppo pimienta
For the sauce // Par la salsa
1 cup lemon juice
3 cloves of smashed garlic
2 T. dried spearmint

Sauté onions in a skillet, add tomato paste, paprika, rice. Transfer to a bowl and mix.
Saltee las cebollas en una sartén, agregue la pasta de tomate, el pimentón, el arroz. Transfiera a un tazón y mezcle.
Steam the cabbage and separate leaves.
Cocine al vapor el repollo y separe las hojas.
On a clean chopping board, spread one cabbage leaf at a time and place 1-2 T on leaf, depending on size of leaf, roll and place in a casserole dish. Add water, cover and bake for 1 hour at 350F.
En una tabla de cortar limpia, extienda una hoja de repollo a la vez y coloque 1-2 T en la hoja, dependiendo del tamaño de la hoja, enrolle y coloque en una cacerola. Agregue agua, cubra y hornee por 1 hora a 350F.
Remove from oven and add the lemon sauce before serving.
Retire del horno y agregue la salsa de limón antes de servir.
