As the school year comes closer to finishing, the team embraces the gifts and miracles the land brings to the community. Strawberries, fragrant flowers, colorful potatoes, and of course, the new generation of our fluttering and furry friends that will spend time in this sanctuary, like birds, monarch butterflies, and cats.
Some only stay temporarily, others will grow up to raise their own in this very place, repeating this cycle and giving the next generation of K-8 an opportunity to witness a glimpse of their life.
Time flies, but our purpose is to allow students the time and space to slow down and learn from the life and medicine the garden brings. We hope one day they’ll look back and still remember all the love you can feel here.
