Who We Are: UT QT’s!

The Urban Tilth Queer and Trans Staff (UT QTs) is an affinity group made up of openly-identified LGBTQIA+ staff members. We work across all UT Departments and share a common belief that all LGBTQIA+ people should feel liberated and safe in the workplace. The UT QTs exist as a space to reclaim joy and cultivate community.

We are rooted in radical love, honoring our ancestors, envisioning our liberation, collective care, and unapologetic queer, trans, non-binary, and two-spirit identity.

We center the voices and experiences of Black, Brown, Indigenous, People of Color, and disabled queer, trans, non-binary, and Two-Spirit people.

Our Purpose and Goals

We aim to identify systems of oppression within our hiring, recruitment, and overall organizational structure and propose changes to process and policy to ensure equitable representation & inclusion of LGBTQIA+ community members.
