From Railway to Greenway: Help Keep Richmond Thriving for 20 More Years

Once a neglected Santa Fe railway line used as a dumping ground, the Richmond Greenway is now a vibrant and vital connector between Richmond neighborhoods. Over the past 20 years, Urban Tilth and dedicated community partners have transformed this space into a hub for gatherings, wellness, and community-led events.

Today, the Richmond Greenway Trail stands as a symbol of healing, health, and resilience. It offers residents a place to harvest seasonal fruits and vegetables, participate in regular cleanups, and attend annual events like the MLK National Day of Service.

Urban Tilth hopes to continue offering these programs and more in the years ahead. But this work depends on community support.

As of today, $12,475 has been raised toward the $20,000 goal for the 20th Anniversary Celebration, which will take place on Saturday, October 11.

Help sustain and grow this transformative work by making a contribution today. Donations of $20, $50, or $100 make a real impact. If you’re unable to give, please consider sharing this campaign with others.

Together, we can ensure the Greenway continues to thrive for generations to come.
