Urban Tilth’s Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) program has been hard at work this past month, packing and distributing fresh, pesticide-free produce to local community members. In total, the team packed 2,010 produce bags across the CSA program — a milestone that reflects the growing support and ongoing commitment to food justice in Richmond.
Each weekly produce bag is thoughtfully curated based on seasonality and availability from partner farms, ensuring members receive a fresh and diverse selection. One recent bag included eggplant, summer squash, okra, broccolini, carrots, yellow nectarines, oranges, escarole, and two types of leafy greens.
This work is only possible through the continued support of CSA members and the dedication of partner farmers. Their collaboration helps Urban Tilth provide consistent access to healthy, locally grown food while sustaining the regional food system.
Thank you to everyone who makes this program possible.
