Community-Centered Growth Continues at the North Richmond Farm

Each month brings new growth, fresh produce, and deeper community connections. Here’s what has been happening at the farm:

Highlights from This Month:

  • Over 65 bouquets and 95 flower pots grown at the farm were given away to mothers and caretakers in the community.
  • New crops planted include pumpkins, tomatoes, celery, and peppers.
  • Support from the administrative team and students from Merritt College helped with laying down straw and amending crop rows.
  • The farm hosted an Herbal and First Aid Skin workshop led by @sophia.alchemia, where participants used herbs grown on-site to make natural medicine.
