Since 2017, the farm has been buzzing with life thanks to our bee colonies. They play a vital role in keeping our fruit trees, cucumbers, squash, and berry patch healthy and productive by providing essential pollination.
We care for our bees through natural beekeeping, meaning no chemicals, just healthy, happy hives. Their homes are set up where the morning sun shines in, giving them the warmth and energy they need to start their busy day of pollination.
When it comes to honey, every year is a little different, but a single colony can produce an incredible 100–200 pounds! Honey is seasonal, and you can usually find it for sale in the late spring and late summer. Right now, we’re excited to offer fresh honeycomb straight from the hive.
Our bees don’t just make honey, they help the whole farm flourish. Next time you visit, take a moment to appreciate these hardworking pollinators for all the sweetness they bring.
