The San Francisco Foundation supports two Urban Tilth programs for Richmond High and Verde Elementary students!
We are excited to announce that we received a Youth Access to Nature grant from the San Francisco Foundation. Thanks to this generous support our beloved Richmond High School Urban Agriculture Academy (UAA) will continue to thrive during its ninth year! Furthermore, this grant will make it possible for us to launch and support the Basin’s of Relations Urban Naturalist Program for its first year, allowing Richmond High students to deepen their understanding of the natural world and then share their knowledge of the importance of local watersheds with Verde Elementary students.
