Phase 2 Building Foundations!

December 4, 2023 The farm buildings are starting to take shape, as the footings are excavated, formed and poured in concrete, the interior plumbing and drainage lines are run, and electrical sleeves are installed. The Main Barn building pad is now rough graded.

Heavy Timber Trusses

Meanwhile, on the East Coast, traditional heavy timber trusses are being fabricated by the skilled craftspersons of Earthbound Builders.  The trusses will be shipped via rail for installation in the Watershed Workshop, Native Plant Nursery, and Composting Toilet Building.

Phase 2 Building Construction Kicks Off

Phase 2 Building Pads: Sewer, Water and Storm Drain Lines

Work continues this month as the pads for the Phase 2 buildings are completed, and underground utilities on-site installation continues.  A total of 1267 linear feet of storm drain, 1,421 linear feet of sanitary sewer, and 1,313 linear feet of water pipe are being installed .
