Update from North Richmond Farms Summer Apprentice Crew. We just started Week One! We covered some important topics like site and tool safety, mindfulness, and North Richmond site history. Not only have we been learning but also getting tasks completed like harvesting our apricots, adding coffee grounds donated by Catahoula coffee to help our Berries thrive! Summer is our busiest time of year and we are excited and thankful to have these young apprentices to teach and lend a helping hand on the farm. The crew has also been working on bed prepping, weeding, transplanting squash parsley beets, and seeding in the greenhouse Pattypan squash Zucchini Lettuce mix romaine lettuce More coming next week!
