Urban Ag Class Update

Welcome back @rhsoilers !!!The urban ag class is now entering week 2 of the school year!!! This school year we got TWO classes! Week one we created group agreements, made some yummy pesto pasta & did some plant identification! This week we started our Monday with a student-led farm stand for it being the first week we sure did get most of the produce gone Every Monday the students will be out there for 30-45 mins handing out freshly harvested produce from the garden. This not only shows youth that there are jobs in growing food but also motivates them to grow the tastiest produce to give out to their classmates and teachers. We’re really proud of them & looking forward to the rest of the semester with these super smart and hilarious young adults
