Closing off the winter season 
We love the “imperfect” plants because it reminds us that not everything has to be perfect we got some big & weird cabbages & huuuge green leaves! 
For the urban ag online course: Students just wrapped up a unit on climate change and environmental justice, and are regularly checking in on their homegrown project. Today students learned how to make a cilantro pesto during our Urban Kitchen cooking session! This year one of our goals is to work more with flowers. Not just pollinators/herbs but cut flowers for bouquets and offerings 
With the help of the students at our after-school club we planted chocolate sunflowers & zinnias.
