Making the Farm Fully Functional and Accessible
Phase 2 also includes critical site improvements that make the farm fully functional and accessible.
This work includes:
- Completing the Brookside Drive frontage
- Installing rain gardens and landscape areas
- Finishing the Brookside Orchard and installing deer fencing
- Adding permanent gates and outdoor lighting
- Installing utility connections
- Securing a water meter and hydrants
- Installing interpretive and History Walk signage
These elements ensure the farm is not only beautiful and welcoming, but safe, sustainable, and ready to serve the community for years to come.
