Looking back at 2020 accomplishments
Shout out to the watershed crew, especially our manager Jonah, this year for holding it down at the nursery!
-
1,020 native plants propagated!
-
294 planted on our sites Wildcat Creek/ El Cerrito Creek
Why native plants? There are several reasons, but the important ones to note are that native plants:
- help prevent erosion
- provide food and shelter for different species
- increase biodiversity
Here are some of the native plants you can find at our nursery !
- Candy Flower
- Pink Honeysuckle
- California blackberry (seedlings donated by the Watershed Nursery)
- Common Rush
