Interiors, Utilities, and Finishing Touches
The largest body of work ahead is installing windows, doors, rooftop solar voltaic systems and completing the interiors of the Phase 2 buildings and connecting and turning on the utilities. While the exterior shells are in place, the remaining work transforms these structures into fully functioning spaces.
Completing the interiors includes sheetrock, paint, cabinetry and shelving, electrical and lighting systems, plumbing fixtures, security systems, and signage.
Phase 2 buildings include:
- Tool Shed and Staff Break Room
- Watershed Workshop
- Composting Toilet
- Native Plant Nursery
- Honey Extraction Room
- Main Greenhouse
Exterior elements such as skylights, downspouts, exterior plaster at the Watershed Workshop, rooftop photovoltaic systems, and large glass and barn doors are also part of the final push toward completion.
Once funding is secured and crews mobilize, this remaining work is projected to take approximately two to three months.
