Food Aid Program

The Food Aid Program was officially launched in 2024 in response to a growing need for post-COVID pandemic emergency response food aid. Our goal is to provide free, fresh, locally grown produce in Richmond and San Pablo in the case of an emergency, such as a natural disaster or federal food benefit program cuts, and to community-based organizations and institutions such as senior centers, churches, schools, public housing, and health care facilities that are hosting events, resource fairs, and distribution programs.

Food Aid is limited and allocated on a first-come, first-served basis with a priority to the North Richmond community.
