The construction team has made meaningful progress on improving accessibility and ease of movement through the row crop area. Engineered Wood Fiber has now been installed along the main paths, creating a surface that is both wheelbarrow-friendly and ADA-accessible.
To stay aligned with the farm’s practices, the project avoids the use of petrochemical-based geosynthetic fabrics and chemically treated lumber. Instead, the path underlayment is made of burlap, and the headers are constructed from redwood.
