Our ‘Basins of Relations’ Watershed Restoration apprentices have been celebrating the return of rain and water to our Creek ecosystems! This is the perfect time of year to plant our hand-grown California native plants, which create a habitat for a native food web both below- (bacteria, fungi, worms!) and above-ground (insects, butterflies, songbirds). The apprentices also continue to grow their knowledge- learning about everything from forest pathology to herbal medicine. Check out our adventures via the pictures below!
