Verde Partnership team update 
We are now entering our plant science unit with K-3rd grade. We hope to deepen their already innate understanding of plants and their wonders. We started off by experiencing plants with our senses 
We made soap with ceanothus flowers, observed ladybug houses in fava bean leaves using magnifying glasses, tasted borage flowers and felt the slimy medicine of aloe Vera. Oh, and we heard the bees buzzing away enjoying the flowers 
Eventually we will learn more about plant biology and adaptations. 
We celebrated a beloved teacher’s bday with a flower bouquet 
this week we continued our exciting collaboration with the amazing precise eyes muralists and artists that are bringing the garden to the playground with a huge and beautiful mural 
We are so thankful and excited for all that we have been learning experiencing
