Verde Partnership Garden is buzzing and vibrant this season yesterday we celebrated Bienvenida Meza’s Bday she and her sons built a beautiful chayote arbor this week. Thank you for all you do and what you teach us!
We have been receiving all grades k-8th grade into the garden weekly for the garden enrichment program. Here we hold space for sensorial, hands-on learning in the garden. With our current climate crisis, it’s necessary to include environmental justice in our curriculum and our first unit is water.
We collaborated with the watershed crew and did a visit to the wildcat creek, and a family enjoyed making seed balls of native pollinator-attracting flowers 
Parents and staff have been enjoying the veggies students grew during the summer program 
We also welcome Lu Ledesma our new team member! Richmond was raised, from Yahualica Jalisco
