The Friends of the Richmond Greenway and their allies have recently been selected by the National Park Service to complete a feasibility study about creating a Richmond Groundwork Trust. The Richmond Groundwork Trust would be a non-profit affiliate of the national Groundwork Trust USA network. The Richmond Groundwork Trust would work to “improve [our] environment, economy and quality of life through local action by getting local people, business, government and other organizations involved in practical projects.” To learn more or to get involved, please attend the orientation on Wednesday, November 19th from 3:00 to 5:00 at the Nevin Center in Richmond.
