Pizza, Produce, and Farm Fun at Richmond High!

This past month has been an action-packed one for our students at the Urban Agriculture Academy! Despite the rainy weather, we kept the energy high and accomplished some amazing things together.

Our students crafted a total of 40 pizzas from scratch, using fresh, locally grown ingredients. They also made 80 delicious caramel apples, sharing the sweetness of the season with our community. In addition, we hosted two successful farm stands, offering a variety of farm-fresh produce and homemade goods.

It’s been such a rewarding month of hands-on learning, creativity, and community engagement. We’re so proud of our students for their hard work and resilience, and we can’t wait to see what’s next as we continue to grow together!
