New growing space is getting ready to be prepped by our North Richmond Farm Collective, Rudy Lozito Urban Agriculture Fellows, and our Summer Youth Apprentices this summer…
These 3 dream teams will be working together this summer to bring this new growing space to life by installing a drip irrigation system, adding compost, sowing a cover crop, and protecting the soil from erosion and moisture in the soil from evaporation by applying a layer of mulch.
This new growing space should be full of nutrients and ready next year to help Urban Tilth grow more healthy, chemical-free foods for our community!
