The North Richmond Storytellers graduated this month from our Summer Youth Apprentice Program. They had a full summer! They interviewed North Richmond elders, learned active listening skills, stories of love, community, and leadership, climate and environmental justice issues, seeded flowers, made and painted garden beds, volunteered at the senior center, went on a camping trip, and a field trip to Pixar. Congratulations, and thank you to all the apprentices, staff, and guest speakers, including Angela Cox, Aniya Butler, Diana Leal, and Daniela Tabora. Congratulations, everyone – we’re so proud of you!
