A productive day at the Verde Elementary Partnership Garden!
We harvested crisp and delicious vegetables that were donated to the North Richmond Senior Community Center (and were greeted with big smiles and requests for more).
We trimmed back blackberry plants to clear pathways.
Ms. Meza taught an informative and engaging class that consisted of a sensorial tour of the garden where students got to see, touch, smell, and taste a variety of fruits and plants.
