Hello All,

Urban Tilth will be cautiously welcoming back a limited number of volunteers to our two Greenway Gardens for the 2nd Saturday Volunteer Day on Saturday, August 8th. These gardens are located along the Greenway trail and we will have a maximum of 12 volunteers at each garden.

2 LOCATIONS
* 6th Street Community Gardens (max 12 volunteers)
Location: @6th and the Richmond Greenway between Ohio and Chanslor Ave near Lincoln Elementary School

* 16th Street Edible Forest Community Orchard (max 12 volunteers)
Location: @16th and Ohio Ave (Unity Park)

REGISTRATION REQUIRED – NO DROP-INS!
Due to COVID-19 precautions, you must register for this event using Eventbrite. Sadly we must limit the number of volunteers to 12 at each site, which means there are 24 total spots available.

Make sure you are signing up on EVENTBRITE for the correct location that you would like to volunteer at.

6th Street Community Gardens
– Help bring our citrus orchard back to life by weeding and amending the citrus trees
-Helps start fall seeds for the garden
-Help cut back overgrown blackberry
– Help create new wooden labels for raised beds

16th Street Edible Forest
– Give luv to our Community Orchard by weeding, amending, and mulching fruit trees

It’s going to be a good time, we look forward to seeing everybody after so much time being apart!

Due to the Covid-19, everyone who signs up agrees to the following:
-Stay 6 feet apart from one another
-Wear a mask at all times (over nose and mouth)
-If you can, please bring hand sanitizer, gloves and plenty of water
