Our North Richmond Farm Summer Youth Apprentices have returned from camping!
The NRF apprentices joined our 4 other SYAP sites at @blueoakranchreserve. They participated in group hikes almost daily! They spent a lot of time exploring nature, playing in the water, and learning about the local ecosystem.
The NRF apprentices were also responsible for cooking! The first night they served fresh pasta filled with Richmond-grown squash!
Some daring apprentices even participated in a night hike & owl survey! Special thank you to @blueoakranchreserve for hosting us and showing us the beauty of camping.
