Richmond, get ready for the much-awaited celebration of our city’s green legacy at the 6th Annual Fruit Tree Giveaway! Over the past six years, this initiative has blossomed into a symbol of growth, community spirit, and environmental consciousness. Rain or shine, mark your calendars for Saturday, March 9th, 2024, from 10 AM to 12:00 PM or until all the trees find new homes.
What’s in store?
This year’s event promises an abundance of joy and greenery. Picture this: free fruit trees, nutrient-rich compost, and root guard baskets—all to usher in the season of renewal. It’s not just a giveaway; it’s a commitment to fostering a Green Richmond.

Rules of the Green Game
To ensure everyone gets a slice of the green pie, kindly note the following:
– One tree per household – let’s share the green love!
– It’s first-come, first-served – so don’t miss out!
– Priority for Richmond residents
