As Orchard For All prepares to launch the Winter Gleaners Apprentice Program in just a few weeks, the program is also reminding the community of its incredible, free services that are available to help reduce food waste and support those in need.
The standout programs are the free fruit tree care and harvesting services. The goal with these is to help prevent food waste while providing fresh, locally grown produce to those in need. The team is currently working to support residents in Richmond’s Iron Triangle, Santa Fe, and Coronado neighborhoods, ensuring their fruit trees stay healthy and productive through the cold winter months.

Gleaners Apprenticeship Applications Extended
The deadline to apply for the Winter Gleaners Apprenticeship Program has been extended to Friday, February 14th. This is a fantastic opportunity for individuals to gain hands-on experience while working to reduce food waste and support food justice in the community. Interested applicants can find more details below or at the previous hotlink.
