As we wrap up another season, we want to take a moment to share updates on what we’ve been working on at the Free Farm Stand. Our dedicated team has been busy providing fresh, organic produce to residents throughout the area. Over the past few months, we’ve also introduced juice recipe demonstrations, which you can find on our social media feeds. These demonstrations are just one way we’re hoping to inspire healthy, creative ways to enjoy the food we offer.
With the year winding down, we’re already looking ahead to 2024 and thinking about how we can continue to serve you better. Our goals for the upcoming year include expanding our gardening tutorials and sharing even more delicious, easy-to-make recipes. We’re excited to offer tools and inspiration that help you grow your own food, create new meals, and live a more sustainable lifestyle.
As the rainy season approaches, please be sure to stay updated on any weather-related cancellations. We will keep you informed through our social media channels, so you’ll always know when to expect us at our farm stands.
And don’t forget, our Free Farm Stand is open every week, with produce available on a first-come, first-served basis. Here’s where you can find us:
- Tuesdays: Crescent Park
- Wednesdays: Unity Park & Lucas Park
- Thursdays: McGlothen Church
- Fridays: Parchester Neighborhood Center
All stands open at 2:00 PM and run until the produce is gone. We encourage you to come early for the best selection!
