Private Electric Vehicle Adoption & Usage

Project Description
This strategy aims to increase the adoption and use of electric vehicles (EVs) and other zero-emission personal vehicles within the Path to Clean Air (PTCA) community to reduce air pollution and greenhouse gas emissions from transportation. Although the PTCA Community Emissions Reduction Plan focuses on air quality benefits, actions tied to vehicle electrification also help transition private vehicles away from internal combustion engines. The strategy may include supporting incentive programs and outreach, encouraging residents and businesses to purchase or lease plug-in electric vehicles (PEVs) and other zero-emissions vehicles (ZEVs), promoting educational campaigns on EV benefits, and facilitating access to rebates or charging infrastructure.
