Project Description

This project seeks to support and expand on-demand shuttle services as a flexible transit option that complements fixed-route buses along the Richmond Parkway corridor. On-demand shuttles operate like microtransit: riders request rides via an app or phone, and vehicles dynamically route to pick up and drop off passengers, improving first-/last-mile connections and serving areas where traditional transit routes may not be frequent or convenient. This service helps fill gaps in the current transit network and provides more equitable mobility options
