We’re excited to bring back our Spring Break at the Farm program for local middle school youth, with priority given to North Richmond youth, followed by participants from greater Richmond and San Pablo. This week-long outdoor experience invites 6th–8th graders to explore sustainable agriculture, learn about local food systems, connect with plants and wildlife, and get their hands in the soil.
From transplanting seedlings to discovering where our food comes from, participants build skills, confidence, and community, all while spending their spring break outside in the sunshine.
We can’t wait to welcome the next group of young farmers to the land!
Participants must be able to commit to the full week. Enrollment is limited to 10 students, and registration is required, so make sure to sign up!
