FFS Volunteer Day: Propagation 101
Join the Farm Stand team for a hands-on learning session focused on plant propagation and the many ways we can grow new plants from existing ones. In this workshop, we will break down what propagation actually means, why it is an important part of farming and gardening, and explore different methods used to propagate plants, including simple techniques you can practice at home. We will also talk about what types of plants can be propagated, how to recognize healthy plant material, and tips for increasing your success when starting new growth.
This is a great opportunity for anyone interested in gardening, farming, or deepening their understanding of how plants multiply and thrive. Whether you are brand new to propagation or already have some experience, you will leave with practical knowledge and a clearer sense of how to apply these skills in your own space.
Please bring a reusable water bottle and a sunhat to stay comfortable and protected while we are outdoors. Parking is available in front of the operations office.
