Books, Art, and Breakfast
Join us in Richmond at Unity Park for the Books, Arts & Breakfast Festival, a free, family-friendly community celebration that brings together storytelling, creativity, food, and connection in one joyful outdoor gathering. This event is designed to spark a love of reading and imagination while creating space for neighbors of all ages to come together, share experiences, and celebrate local culture and creativity.
Guests can enjoy a free community breakfast with morning refreshments, explore a Books and Arts Marketplace featuring local authors, booksellers, artists, and community organizations, and take part in an author meet and greet highlighting the voices shaping our community. Families will also find hands-on activities, including face painting, interactive art stations, and a petting zoo, along with a lively bumper car arena for all-ages fun.
The festival is brought to you by Urban Tilth, Rich City Rides, Richmond Fire Department Youth Academy, Contra Costa Health, and Moving Forward.
We are excited for you to join us, and we kindly ask that you bring books to contribute to our community book swap or donation table, along with a reusable water bottle, sun protection, comfortable clothing for outdoor activities, and a bag to carry any books or artwork you take home. Everyone is welcome to come share in a morning of learning, creativity, and community spirit.
