Celebrate Earth Day on the Richmond Greenway!

Come out and celebrate your love for Mother Earth at the Greenway Gardens on April 23rd, 2022!
Earth Day is an annual celebration that honors the achievements of the environmental movement and raises awareness of the need to protect Earth’s natural resources. We look forward to each Earth Day celebration because of the opportunity to come together with the community in order to keep our parks and gardens beautiful for all future generations of Richmond residents.
We invite you all to celebrate with us as we will have many activities for the entire family! These activities include..
- Mural Painting
- Planting a flower garden
- Beautifying playground
- Building free fruit tree stand for edible forest
- Watershed swale planting and weeding
And much more!
We ask the all volunteers wear a mask and maintain social distancing from others for the duration of this event to ensure the safety of everyone involved.
