Social Media and Graphic Design Specialist

Andrew Whitmore is a Bay Area Native. Born in Hayward, CA, Andrew has lived in Richmond, CA since 1997 and has loved the community ever since. After graduating from Leadership Public Schools, Andrew set his sights on becoming a Graphic Designer. The idea of combining art, problem solving, and storytelling drove Andrew to study design at The Academy of Art University in San Francisco. Once Andrew completed his studies and worked at a variety of marketing and tech companies around the Bay Area, he found himself back to his roots in Richmond, CA with the goal of bringing good design to his community. Joining Urban Tilth means I can combine my values and skill sets to give back to those around me.

Innua Robinson

Communications Associate

Innua Robinson is a multidisciplinary artist from Richmond, California, who also spent part of her formative years in British Columbia. A graduate of the Cooper Union School of Art, she specialized in sculpture, woodworking, print design, and sculptural hydro cartography—blending artistic expression with water-based environmental mapping. Her work explores how materials, traditions, and creative practices connect people, culture, and the environment. Guided by a storytelling practice rooted in vivid, anecdotal narratives, Innua’s perspective shapes both her art and professional endeavors, emphasizing sustainable practices and a commitment to harmony between communities and ecosystems. By bridging art and environmental advocacy, Innua aims to foster dialogue on sustainability and cultural synergy.

Dawn Rose

Communications and Marketing Manager

Dawn Rose brings a blend of environmental expertise and visual storytelling to her role as Marketing and Communications Manager. A Bay Area native who grew up in Alameda, she deepened her understanding of the region’s environmental and social landscape at Santa Clara University, where she earned her BA in Environmental Studies with a focus on social justice and cartography. Dawn’s deep roots in the Bay Area drives her passion for connecting communities through storytelling and fostering shared relationships with food and land.

Dawn’s communications strategy is powered by her commitment to local food sovereignty and community resilience throughout Richmond and the greater Bay Area. In her spare time, you’ll find her hosting dinner parties for friends, rock climbing the iconic walls of Yosemite and Tahoe, or capturing the subtle beauty of everyday moments through her camera lens.
